Continuing the now historical tradition for the Misano MotoGP, Rossi wore the 'Wake Up!' helmet. As with all the helmet designs worn by 'The Doctor' this one has it's own story behind it...after a difficult season dogged with injuries, Vale knew that his home race would be the time to put the difficulties behind him and start a fresh...just like a new day. The 'Wake Up!' sent a message that it was time to wake up...he'd had a rest and taken things easy, but enough is enough! The Championship was out of reach...but if proof was ever needed that Rossi still has the desire to win and the chance of future victories, championships and celebrations the 'Wake Up!' lid proves his motivation and will to win is as strong as ever! The AGV GP Tech Helmet is constructed from SSL (Super-Super-Light) Carbon-Kevlar construction, and is the very same helmet worn and developed by multiple Moto GP world champion Valentino Rossi. The shell itself is available in three sizes, with the ventilation system moulded directly in the shell, with vents on the chinbar and forehead as well as exhaust vents on the back. As well as being lightweight, the GP Tech has a fully removable and washable Cool Max lining (including the neck roll) with different sized cheek pads available for a custom fit. A wider aperture than the Titech is replaces, as well as a revised visor mechanism makes changing the visor even quicker then before. The visors are flat, anti scratch and anti fog race visors with tear off system. Double D-Ring fasteners ensure correct strap tension.
