About Battery Power Packs

Battery power packs are used to 'jump start' a vehicle when the on board battery has insufficient power to start the engine on its own or to conserve the energy in the onboard battery for race cars. Jump start packs are supplied with power leads which connect to the battery via either universal crocodile clips, or an Anderson type jack plug for use with race cars. Jump start power packs can be charged from either mains supply or from a 12v vehicle source via the cigarette lighter.
