Race boots are an important part of your race clothing. They need to offer the wearer protection in the event of a fire whilst providing a comfortable fit and feel. All racing shoes offered by Demon Tweeks are approved to FIA 8856-2000 and feature a flame proof liner which protects the feet and ankle. Race shoes are usually made in two main styles, high cut and mid cut. Mid cut race shoes sit just above the ankle while high cut race boots extend further up the calf and generally have an extra Velcro closure at the top for a more secure fit. The soles on racing shoes / boots are designed to offer good grip and tend to be on the thinner side to give a better feel on the pedals. Many different style and colour options of racing shoe are available and often the colour ways match suits and gloves to provide a full race wear set.
