The AX-8 off-road lid is unmistakably from the AGV stables, family resemblances include prominent features such as the deep chin piece and large aggressive styled air vents and rear extractors. The prominent chin guard ensures this lid differs significantly to others currently on the market with its looks having an immediate aesthetic impact, reasserted by the large steel grille that protects the front air vent. The AX-8 is instantly recognisable, especially during races - regardless of the helmet's graphics or track conditions. Using their latest shell construction techniques the AX-8 shell vaunts SSL (Super-super-light) technology which sees the layering of Carbon, Kevlar and Fibreglass - keeping the overall weight down but ensuring the maximum levels of safety. Another feature from AGV's road helmets featured on the AX-8 is their Integrated Ventilation System (IVS) - a wide channel formed directly in the shell for an enhanced air-flow into the helmet and an improved aerodynamic penetration. Featuring five front air vents, two lateral air intakes and two rear extractors.
