Founded in 1972 Sabelt began manufacturing seat belts for cars and quickly became leaders in their field. By 1976 they have moved into the world of motorsport by producing safety harnesses for competition cars. In this year Sabelt revolutionised the way harnesses were used by developing the first rotary release buckle.
Sabelt's passion for safety in motorsport drove them to begin producing a range of quality race wear including - Sabelt suits, Sabelt gloves, Sabelt underwear and Sabelt boots. The range of Sabelt race wear has grown hugely in popularity and is the choice of 6 times World rally champion Sebastian Loeb.
