About Yokohama Motorsport

Yokohama are a tyre manufacturer with over 30 years experience in producing motorsport tyres for circuit racing or off road, such as rallying. Under the brand name Advan, Yokohama tyres became well known and sought after for competition in its native Japan. It was during the 1980's that Yokohama Advan became better known throughout the World with their tyres being used on cars in the Le Mans 24 hour race and on World touring cars. In 1990 The British, Italian and Australian touring car championships were all won by cars using Yokohama Advan tyres. A continuous development program and the drive to be the best meant that wins kept on coming and today Yokohama tyres have been used on Championship winning cars in pretty much all categories of race and rally.
